Well, after a lot of research on forums, taking into account people's opinions, etc. I decided to go for it. I will be in LA hopefully picking up the FJ.

Too bad I'll miss the first snow run. Maybe ill catch the next one.

If you get a chance stop in and see these guys, they have some of the best suspension lifts for the IFS Toyota's.

I got the FJ! The trip to LA was smooth, hardly any traffic. I left around 7:15AM and came right back from Lomita (about 4hrs from Clovis).

I think the car has a slight lift, the tires are in great shape. While I was at star bucks I looked back and noticed the head rests had tvs in them, BONUS (the kids loved it!

It does need some TLC:

1. Oil change.
2. Rubber mats are missing (just bought actual Toyota FJ mats on Amazon)
3. The car shakes around 65mph but then stop past 70. Gotta get the tires checked out. I'll probably just take it in and have the entire suspension checked out.
4. The tire pressure light is on, so i'll reset it and hopefully it doesn't come back on. I hear it's a 5 way sensor system, so I'll have to check the spare.
5. The rear rotors are warped, so I'll probably take them off and take them to Dave Hiatt and have them machined if possible and refresh the brake fluid.

I brought all of these issues up to the dealer and knocked off an extra $300 from my original offer! I think it may also have a slight lift. I stopped by my neighbors FJ and mine seems a tad taller. It could be the all terrain tires, but it definitely seems taller than stock.

All and all, I love the car, my wife is in love with it (more than me I think). As a matter of fact, I am home (supposed to be doing homework) and she's off driving it.

I can't wait to get all of the little issues taken care of and take it out on a trail.
