Congrats sir !   Looking like a lot of fun is in your future.

Reminds me of one I saw once.   🤔

Haha maybe a tan one?

made some $35 hood vents this morning (that includes the price of the angle grinder haha). I'm not 100% satisfied about the final outcome, but I think the screws are just standing out too much, along with the different shades of white... but the entire vehicle is different shades of white lol. I think if I ever get around to painting it my dream neon green color, the vents will blend in more. Until then, they will stay like this.

This was also my first time ever using an angle grinder... it's addicting  ;D

I recognize that project work area.  :)

Hopefully it will run cooler now. And an angle grinder, hmmm.....

While out at Niagara Rim this weekend, I decided to remove my doors and do the weekend sans doors... kind of like a jeep... but way better... because its a toyota...

Turns out running without doors is awesome. So I modified my hinges and setup a quick release door hinge system. I can now remove and put on my doors in under 3 min. Hurray for no electric windows and locks!

First picture is of the original hinge/pin. All I did was removed the door, cut the pin with a grinder, pounded out the old pin, enlarged the holes a bit to fit a 3/8" pin, and then put it all back together with the quick release cotter pin. Took about 2 hours to do, 2 trips to lowes, and a lot of trying different things to pound out the old pins. Once I figured out the process on the first door, the 2nd door only took about 30 minutes total. Second pic is of one of the hinges with the new cotter pin!

Just had the front axle seals and wheel bearings done... Turns out chromoly longfields are beautiful creatures.

Added some P=IE in the center console.

- New accessory/lighter port, and relocated it to bottom DIN
- Added 2x2.1AMP port USB plug in old accessory/lighter port location
- Added volt meter
- Color matched the radio to all the other neon green
- Need a neon green ham radio faceplate :D
