Whorffs leaving the area,
« on: October 10, 2016, 04:25:24 PM »

I wanted to say goodbye to all or our friends with 4x4Him.  Most of you know that we are moving to Northern Nevada.  Our last day in Clovis is this Sunday.  After over 20 years, 15 of which has been with 4x4Him, it will be tough to leave the many friends we have here.  We will still be doing our February trip to the Lone Pine area at Presidents weekend.  Just let us know if you are interested!
Remember that we are in a great wheeling area!  Our new house is 18 minutes from Lake Tahoe.  So, the Niagra Rim Trail, Rubicon, Barret Lake, Fordyce Creek, and others not to mention Northern Nevada Ghost towns and mines.
Keep in touch and remember we have a guest room!

Good luck in your new home, sounds like a nice area. Didn't get to wheel with you much but did enjoy the few trips. Hope you enjoy being out of California.

The first 4x4Him meeting we attended was at the El Pueblito Restaurant in Clovis on Tollhouse and Sunnyside. This was years ago and you, Fred, were the president then and you welcomed us with a big smile and introduced us to everyone. Thank you Fred, for all you've done for the club! Looking forward to wheeling with you and the new 4x4Him, Northern Nevada Chapter!
You, Leslie, and Josh take care and God bless!

Going to miss having you guys around.  I hope to make it up that way to do some wheeling trips in the future.  A lot of area up there I have never been.

Fred, you and your family will be missed. Thanks for all the advise and help on the trails. As you know I love that area so hopefully Mindy & I will be able to take you up on that room. I really want to do the
Barney Riley Trail and sit in the Hot Springs.
Also next August we plan on doing a trip to Barrett Lake to place Burls ashes up at Top Lake. Its kinda up in your area. Let me know if you would be interested in joining us.

I will continue to pray for you all.
