So I got a call today asking for help to pull someone out of the mud. Immediately I thought of some high mountain area with deep snow, or some wide river miles up stream. Some place hours away from civilization... Nope.
You may have seen the high dirt wall on East Shepard from De Wolf to 168? Well there's a flood zone behind it with a short concrete bridge and some water running beneath it. Jeff got his new Toyota high centered in some deep sandy part of the water right beside the bridge. Jacqui and I made it out there and we spent about 45 minutes tugging him forwards and backwards and forwards again. We even entertained the idea of calling a tow truck before we tried one more time with both of our rigs yanking him forward when he finally broke free. Good times!
