Whats Open in the winter??
« on: December 08, 2011, 03:38:21 PM »

Since I am new to Fresno and CA OHV how do I know what is open in the winter? Where do you guys wheel during the winter? I am good with some snow, but since I am still just a little guy it can't get to deep.

Was thinking of going to Bald on Saturday; Is it open and how much snow should I expect?

Yea Bald is open. I don't have any idea how much snow is up there. There was up to 6-8 inches a couple of weeks ago in the spots that don't get regular sun. Usually in the winter we do our snow runs on Sky Ranch Rd. towards Fresno Dome in the Bass Lake area. We go up and get as far as we can and then head back into Oakhurst and usually do a dinner at Pete's Place. I can't speak for everyone, but eating at Pete's on the way home is the only reason I head up that way.  :mosley:
