Dude Micheal! Haven't heard from you in ever bro! Sammy still looking good and slow too, I'll have to call you one of these days so we can meet up again. You should see my sammy since the last time you saw it way back on coyote I believe, a lot has changed :respect:

I gotta find out where you got those wheels though, I want a set.

I see you got the 16v, but I like 8v fuel injected they both got equal hp around 100hp+,  stock samurai's only 60 hp too weak to pull my fj60 yota axle 5.29:1.  If you put a dual case like I had on my Sami you'll be way too low. you can also add the sidekick T-case 4.24:1 to the 6.5 or the 8:1 you do the math. Sometime too low you go no where your wheel need to turn or you just idle and let the sami climb by itself.  I'm in the process of ordering the 4.24:1 very soon just to experiment, I think it's too slow extremely low!

Here's the math for my crawl ratio: 1st gear 3.70x5.29:1x4.24:1x6.5:1=539:1 (final crawl ratio) with the 8:1 your final crawl ratio is 664:1

Samurai axle is too weak  with low gear I broke 2 sami axle already, now I put fj60 axle in a 9.5" ring and pinion this will be bomb proof for the sami. LOL :rolllaugh: My wheel won't fit yours sami.

I was just referring to your rims, the old school idk duke of hazzard style rims you have! i would love to find a set of rims like those, I have them on my truck but thats 8lug and 16.5 which I'm trying to get away from anyways. I Understand the conversion you are talking about, have the tracker trans and t-case sitting, just need the cash to buy the kit and then install!
