Hey Jerry. We're planning a trip to the snow on the 30th but we're heading up Sky Ranch and stopping by Pete's on the way back. Your welcome to join us.

Bummer. Won't be able to make any of these.  :(

Good for you Adam. We will keep you and your efforts in our prayers.

Hey Fred. You and the family take care of yourselfs. We will look you up the next time we're in the area.

I can't make this due to a prior commitment but will let you know if anything changes. Has anyone tried to contact any of the other clubs to see if they want to get involved? I know a lot of folks here also belong to the Fresno club.

This should be a good discussion, subscribed. I have my external speaker mounted down by my leg and I find it hard to hear when I'm driving any faster than 20mph. If I had to do it again I'd mount it up high somewhere close to my ears.  (Just my 2 cents!)
Hey Tony. I am in the process of designing an overhead CB/speaker mount for a JK. It would be similar to the one I have in my TJ. My CB, speaker, and Ham radio are all mounted on it. I would like to look at your Jeep and take some measurments if it's cool with you. I will let you keep the prototype if it's something you want. Let me know.

Hey Mike (Crawl). Didn't you get a pic of this? But It was interesting to say the least. My front diff nailed a good sized rock right at the point that your going in between the big rock and tree at the bottom of the hill. The vehicle came to a sudden stop. I was in low range and granny gear, (I have an sm465 tranny) and It wouldn't budge. I couldn't go forward, and it wouldn't go in reverse. It was like it was welded in place. I had to winch to get the vehicle to rock slightly to take the pressure off the gears. Anyone that has an older 4 speed manual tranny with a granny gear in their vehicle know that they are sometimes rough to get into or out of gear. I was telling the folks Saturday that there are many times even backing out of a parking space I often have to roll forward a little to get it to go into reverse. It's one of the best manual tranny's made, but it does have it's drawbacks. I do really like the 6.55 granny gear though. 5.38 diff gears x 4.0 t-case gears x 6.55 granny gear = 140.95 crawl ratio.
