I'm going and would like to run the trail with my club mates. I'm doing a day run only, no Friday overnight. I'm thinking of the early side so the trail isn't so torn up and we're for sure back for dinner. With registration opening at 0700 Saturday, I'm guessing tech will get busy starting at 0730 when it opens. Does anyone have parameters for a particular time? If not, I'm thinking of aiming for tech inspection (if you didn't already get it Friday) at 0730 and leaving when the Run begins at 0915, or as soon after that as we all clear tech. What say you?

Thank you for posting that link Monyman, I couldn't find it.  A few ofd us will be running the sweeper run after everyone is done to make sure everyone got off the trail.  I don't know how many rigs they want running.  Maybe rusty will know.

As far as a sweeper crew? Not sure that it matters how many rigs. they would like everyone registered though.

As sweepers wouldn't you want rigs that won't get stuck or break down. That will eliminate the Toyotas.   ;D

I don't know, every time he talks about the jeep he is saying it needs to be gone through and rebuilt.  Is it really trust worthy???

Just cause I say she needs work doesn't mean she isnt ready to go. She is good once as she ever was.  Besides Jeeps have won a World War.  All Toyotas do is shuttle around terrorists.  Toyota's are alot like a broken clock.  A broken clock worked till it parked itself at a set time.  Toyotas run till parked.  Then they become the most reliable lawn art.

See you guys at the run.

For those going to this run: a number of us will be heading out on the trail together at 1030 to run drag. This means picking up trash, helping with disabled or stuck vehicles, etc. In order to be ready at 1030, we're meeting at 0930 for registration and tech inspection at Bretz Mill Campground and you're welcome to join us. Of course you can go whenever you want, but you're welcome to be part of the 1030 group. No matter what you choose, we hope to see you at the event. Here's to having fun....

Hi All, first time going on this run. Headed up tomorrow afternoon with my son. Any advice from the veterans? Place to set up camp, provisions (pretty standard for tent camping?) How would you rate the trail difficulty? I'm in a '15 2 Door Rubicon, 3" lift, 35" BFG, Rockhard skids. I only have the factory Rubicon rock rails. We are happy to help with trail cleaning and vehicle recovery if needed.

We'd enjoy and appreciate your joining us on the tail-end crew. Others can speak more specifically, but I think your rig will do fine as I understand the difficult places have bypasses if you'd like to utilize them. Look for the 4X 4Him stickers, my Tacoma has a windshield banner, and we'll get together.

There is a stream running down the side of the camp area if you want to wade in it. Not sure if there is any fish in it or not. The trail in the past hasn't been overly difficult.  We have done every trail on the run in my wifes cj7 on 33"s  The standard stuff for camping is fine.  There are pit toilets in the campground and they usually bring in a few more for the weekend.

I determined that my recent "it won't start so jump the battery" issue is a battery that won't hold a charge. So, I won't be there tomorrow while I work on my battery replacement issue. You all have fun.
