From Fresno:
To get to the Bald Mountain Base Camp you can either go up Hwy
168 towards Huntington Lake and turn off at the Tamarack Snow park. Follow
the road to the base camp.
OR
Take Highway 168 toward Shaver Lake. Turn right on Dinkey Creek
Rd. (next to the Shell Station). Turn left on Rock Creek Road. Follow
signs to Bald Mountain Trail
The Bald Mountain Route is normally open all year. This OHV
trail is approximately 3.5 miles in length and will take most rigs about 6-8
hours to complete at a leisure pace. This trail boasts some great obstacles such
as "Hollywood"">

"V-Rock" and
"Posi". All of which have bypasses and
can
easily be traversed by most stock 4x4 vehicles. There are many organized runs throughout the year that use this trail.
