ARTICLE I - CLUB NAME and
Mission
Statement
1.
The name of this Organization shall be 4x 4Him Christian
Wheelers.
2.
Mission
Statement: Our club strives to bring honor to Jesus Christ while enjoying the
beautiful world He has created.
ARTICLE II - PURPOSES AND AIMS
1.
This Organization shall be
non-profit in character, a ministry outreach, bringing together and promoting
the interest of the
Four Wheel Drive
community as well as enjoying and preserving the beautiful world that God has
created.
ARTICLE III - TYPE OF MEMBERSHIPS AND DUES
1.
There are two(2) types of Memberships; Active Membership and Associate
Membership.
2.
Active membership will require a Association Club Membership fee to
belong to California Association of 4 WD Clubs Inc. Currently
$45 per year due in July, pro-rated throughout rest of year.
3.
There will be one vote per Active Membership.
Spouses/couples will share a vote
4.
The minimum age for Active Membership shall be eighteen (18) years or
older.
5.
All Members will refrain from the use of alcohol or illegal drugs and
must conduct themselves in a responsible, respectable and orderly manner at all
club events and meetings.
6.
Each Member must hold a valid driver's license and have at least the
minimum legally required vehicle insurance coverage.

Active 4x 4Him Christian
Wheelers Membership
requirements:
o
18yrs of age or older.
o
Valid drivers license.
o
Own a 4x4 vehicle and have a desire
to follow Christ.
o
Attend two meetings and 2 events.
o
For membership to remain an Active
4x4Him Christian Wheelers Membership, you will be required to attend 2 meetings
and 2 events per calendar year with one year laps grace period.
o
Sponsored by 2 current Active
4x4Him Christian Wheelers Members.
o
Join California
Association of 4 WD Clubs Inc.
Application processed through 4x4Him Christian Wheelers.
Current membership number to Cal4Wheel accepted.
Associate 4x 4Him Membership
requirements:
o
Own
a 4x4 vehicle, be a licensed driver with insurance and have a desire to follow
Christ.
o
The
Associate 4x 4Him Membership was set up for, but not limited to those outside or
geographic area that would like to be apart of this Ministry or those who are
under legal age and/or living at home under an Active 4x4Him Member.
ARTICLE IV - OFFICERS AND DUTIES
- President
- Shall be the executive officer and will preside at all Club Meetings.
He/she shall have the duty of carrying out the policies and decisions of
the Club Members. He/she shall co-sign checks with the Treasurer.
- Vice
President - Shall assist President and will step in as President when
President is not available.
- Secretary
- Shall record and publish Minutes of all Club Meetings; maintain
the historical records of the Club; write any correspondence as directed
by the Club; notify Club membership of meetings and events.
He/she shall co-sign checks with the Treasurer.
- Treasurer
- Shall receive all monies, be responsible for the bank deposits,
and disburse funds as authorized. Give
Treasury reports at meetings and have the books open for inspection by
authorized auditors or Club Members. He/she shall co-sign checks with
the other club officers.
- Membership
Delegate –
Shall attend District meetings of CA4WDC Inc. and shall make full
reports to the membership. He/she
shall have authority to make decisions for the club if he/she has not
been previously instructed.
ARTICLE VII - MEETINGS
- Monthly
meetings shall be held on the 15th of every month unless
conflict arises the Board of Officers can move meeting date up to 3 days
forward or back from the 15th. Time and
place at the discretion of the membership. Special meetings may be called
one-half hour prior to the regular meeting for any designated purpose.
Board meetings will be at the call of the President.
ARTICLE VIII - ELECTIONS AND VOTING
- Nominations
will take place at Januarys meeting and Voting and appointment will take
place at Feburarys meeting.
ARTICLE
IX - CHANGES TO BYLAWS
- All
changes to these Bylaws shall be submitted to the Secretary in writing
prior to Meetings. Changes
will be introduced and voted on at scheduled Club meeting.
Changes shall require a two-thirds majority vote of present membership.
ARTICLE
X - PARLIAMENTARY AUTHORITY
- Robert's
Rule of Order, revised, and shall be the parliamentary authority in
all matters not covered in these by-laws.
